Three Businesses Honored at ORA's Eugene Regional Business Summit
[Wilsonville, OR] - Three Mid-Willamette Valley businesses received awards at the Oregon Restaurant Association's Eugene Regional Business Summit on May 12, 2008. Each winning business was recognized for serving its respective communities and inspiring other operators and purveyors in the course of doing business.
Supplier of the Year was awarded to Lamar Advertising. Under regional manager Corey Shumway, Lamar Advertising has been a generous contributor to ORA causes for nearly four years.
Community Service Leader of the Year was presented to Abby's Legendary Pizza. Abby's donated more than $75,000 to community organizations such as the Children's Miracle Network and is also a major sponsor of numerous other campaigns throughout the Northwest.
The Regional Restaurateur of the Year award was presented to Hole in the Wall Barbeque, owned by Richard Becker. A longtime ORA member, Becker has generously supported numerous industry events over the years. He has chaired ORA's Regional Board of Directors and lobbied for the industry at the state and national levels.
