ServSafe

OREF's ServSafeŽ manager training meets the "Demonstration of Knowledge" and "Person in Charge" requirements of the Oregon Food Code. Certification is valid statewide for 5 years and satisfies the food handler requirement. To register, download a ServSafeŽ Registration form and mail it in or fax it with your payment.

Pre-study of the ServSafe Essentials book is required. Payment must be received 7 business days prior to class for materials to be mailed. Note: You must bring your book and confirmation sheet to class. If you did not receive one, contact Sue at 971-224-1503.

Course Fees:
Classroom training is $139 per person ($109 for ORA members) and includes training, exam, certification and the new 5th ed. ServSafeŽ Essentials book. Online course and exam is $155 ($135 for ORA members) and includes online training and exam only - no book.

Special Accommodations:
If you need special accommodations in order to attend a class and / or take the exam, please notify OREF at least one week in advance of the class you are attending. OREF attempts to provide equal access to individuals with disabilities.

Refund Policy:
No refund for online course/exam purchases. Registrant may substitute another employee for an online course/exam but must contact OREF. A full refund may be granted for classroom training up to 7 business days prior to class if book is returned unopened. No refunds given for cancellations less than 7 days prior to class. Registrant may reschedule for a later class date, or transfer registration (with book) to another person.

Re-test Policy:
Individual may retake the Print-base Exam and pre-register for a future class date for a fee of $35 ($30 for ORA members) which includes cost of exam.

Private Classes

Call Sue Smith at OREF (971-224-1503) to set up a private class at your place of employment. We request a minimum of 10 participants per class.
