WELCOME BACK, TEACHERS! ~ 2006-07 school year off to a fast start

School opened up this week to thousands of students and teachers as the new year began. ProStart is already on a fast start as the new teacher training session took place in August, and the all ProStart teacher professional development meeting is scheduled for Chemeketa Community College on October 13, 2006 (inservice day). This year, we have 45 total high schools involved with the ProStart program. Just 4 years ago, there were 19 schools. We'd like to welcome Corbett, Crow, McMinnville, Umatilla, Pendleton, Newberg, Corvallis and Philomath to the ProStart group, and the following new hires: Alan Joynson (Tillamook County Schools Hospitality Program), Dorothy Henson (Scappoose) and Hope Roccasalva (Mountain View). Things are looking great and the 2006-07 year is going to be the best ever!
