Search Key Words Prompts New Portal
Yahoo.com is launching a new website based
on food, with content coming from partners such
as Martha Stewart, Wolfgang Puck, Rachael Ray,
Food and Wine, Epicurious, Cook's Illustrated
and Reader's Digest. Recipes will also be accessible
through a partnership with allrecipes.com.

Fall Culinary Scholarship Deadline Approaching

proud to announce a fall culinary scholarship
competition for all graduating seniors.
The Tarte aux Pommes (Apple Pie baking contest)
is closing quickly - make sure to have your

Farms Taste of the NW Cooking Challenge ~ Step
up to the plate!
The 2007 Foster Farms Taste of the NW Cooking
Challenge is now open to all community college-level
culinary students, and recipes are due by December
15th – read on for more details!
Applicants must be a student enrolled in a
public or private college-level culinary arts
program. Prizes include $1,000 in cash is up
for grabs, merchandise prizes from sponsors,
and customized chef coat, commemorative medal
and Award Certificate. Finalists will be invited
to prepare your recipe for event judges at the
2007 NW Food Manufacturing & Packing Expo,
January 16, 2007, at the Oregon Convention Center
in Portland, OR.
Be original. The applicant's recipe must use
Foster Farms Chicken – extra points will
be given for creative use of Co-Sponsor Products:
Beaverton Foods, Darigold, Del Monte Foods,
and Tree Top.
